There are many Appearance Center patients that come to us with a fair amount of stubborn weight in the chin and neck area. Unlike patients who have laxity in the skin of the neck, and who are prime candidates for a face and neck lift, these patients are usually in their earlier years without a lot of excess skin to spare. A snug dressing is applied to the neck for 3 days. Bruising and swelling can last 7-10 days. Sutures will be removed at one week. You may experience tightness, firming, and itching for 3 – 4 weeks of healing.
